Developed on seven floors, with a total of 3000 square meters, The New Philipp Plein Showroom is in the heart of Milan, between Brera and the Fashion District. As you enter into the palace you are immersed in a rich atmosphere, characterised by the true spirit Philipp Plein. A large Elegant Black marble portal welcomes visitors, who are immediately enveloped by the floor and walls coated by luxurious Portaluppi Grey, a fine marble, well known in the 30’s, chosen by the architects who built the most prestigious Milanese buildings, embraced by Claudio Pironi & Partners to portray and infuse prestige to the entrance of the building’s Hall. In the middle of the lobby the guests are welcomed by the prestigious Brand Symbol, a skull encrusted with black Swarovski® crystals, it persuasively invites the guests inside from two different entrances. A fascinating and mysterious effect of reflections and light is created by the reception desk, covered in Elegant Black marble, with frontal slabs and rough cut surfaces, dipped and refracted from the front mirror wall tinted and enhanced by a grey Murano crystal chandelier that dominates the center of the room. Walking along the building, the new brand ‘Plein Sport’ is visible, a panther’s head, made of Elegant Black marble that broadcasts the determination of the brand, installed inside an extra clear crystal case with brass profiles. 2 glass elevators, with Portaluppi Grey marble floors, and ‘Philipp Plein’ logo mounted, connect the working floors levels showing the latest fashion shows of the Brand on monitors, works as a launchpad to the temple of fashion. The reserved areas for the customers are divided according to the category of each specific product. The Women's area, just like in all Philipp Plein boutiques, is characterised by coated Carrara veined white marble walls, the slabs accurately adjusted to produce patterns which enhance the elegance and materiality, giving a sense of lightness and bright atmosphere. The Elegant Black marble emphasises the Man’s area, enriched by smoked-grey chamfered mirrors, surrounded by shiny stainless steel profiles. A more formal and elegant area within the Man’s area is characterised by the presence of the Afromosia wood, a precious glossed material from exotic countries, used in the 30’s and 40’s for it’s extraordinary elegance. The Children's area is completely empowered by satin brass profiles, like the folding table, decorated with white marble drawers. From the ceiling hangs a ‘Light Golden Box’ that brightens walls and enhances the white boiserie, as well as the backlit stars and frames out the symbol ‘Plein Kids’; an impressive golden Teddy Bear cuddles in a crystal case, with a Candy Station containing colorer candies right next to it. The spaces dedicated to the accessories are distinguished by the presence of structures that are part of the concept conceived by Claudio Pironi for Philipp Plein first fashion line boutiques: it’s the concept of ‘boxe in the box’ where a waxed black iron outer frame (or in polished stainless steel) frames out the exhibitors dedicated to each specific product. Each product has its own individual space, like the eyewear embraced in the Sunglasses Baby, or the leatherwork placed in elegant folding tables.
