The new Philipp Plein boutique in Montecarlo works as the cornerstone of the Metropole Shopping Center. The simil octagonal shape almost completely transparent, gives the chance to view from the outside of the store as a whole and gives emphasis to the precious material used in the store, starting from the glossiness of the stainless steel, to the Murano chandelier. The lighting and interior design brings the attention of the customers of the Metropole Shopping Center. The main entrance of the boutique is right in front of the Met Cafè, on the sides of the entrance the window shops with the black marble grounds, and on the right the kids area stands out its white marbles and satin brass, with the big golden teddy that welcomes the kids inside. On the righthand of the kids area,  next to the other entrance, closed up in a case, the bright skull covered with Swarowsky with a white marble background remains the undiscussed icon that calls up all the fans. When entering into the boutique, with 4 different entrances, on the 4 corners of the store, the spaces develop following the octagonal perimeter in a fluid manner without interruptions. It is possible to tour around the store passing from the woman’s area, though the man’s area and finally arriving in the kids area following a circuit of lighting, colours and different materials. The environments are recognisable and defined by the application on the materials, stainless steel and black marble in the man’s area; stainless steel and white marble in the woman’s area; white marble and satin brass in the kids area. We also find these materials in the display units, each is developed as box in the box; as cages characterised by proportional plug in as shelves, racks, clothes or accessories lightened up by soft lights.  The flooring in resin, moulded with light lines that vary from pale to darker shades create a pattern, moving upward we find white and black marble over the walls, and culminates with a sky of handmade Murano Chandeliers that bring the attention to the center of the man’s and woman’s area.  Also from the corridor view of the Metropole, the boutique is eye catching from each side. The sides of the octagon illustrate different scenic designs, the window-shops have different expositors and different logos, the lighted hexagons on the walls, the wide videowalls set in the marbles, and in the kids area the golden teddy and the lightbox mounted in the ceiling that lights up with golden shades the kids area. An innovation is found in the man’s hanging box that is made up of luminous hexagons that create a luminous design visible from the outside. In the new boutique Philippe Plein in Montecarlo the creativity and visual impact is emphasised by the contrast between stainless steels, satined brasses, black and white marbles, extra clear mirrors and glasses, the outcome of the juxtaposition between strongly structured materials as to transparencies, that play a role of chasing each other, wedging in one another in a spectacular circuit that might end up in an infinite game.
