Claudio Pironi among the Best Italian Interior Design 2018

Architect Claudio Pironi has been selected by Platform Magazine and Simona Finessi among the Best Italian Interior Design 2018. The opening event of the  exhibition held on monday at La Triennale has recorded great success, involving lots of people from the Milanese design community.

The interior architecture has been the most vital and experimental laboratory of modern Italian architecture for over one hundred years, a place where project, advanced craftsmanship, industry and social aspirations have often met happily, producing fundamental works to understand our culture.

The initiative, promoted by PLATFORM Architecture and Design and Publicomm, its publishing house, has the ambitious aim of photographing the state of the art of interior design by Italian designers. The selection was made through an open call. More than 400 candidates have been evaluated to then come to a list of 84 projects divided into retail, private residences, yacths, offices, hotels, restaurants, bars, etc.

 

Studio Claudio Pironi & Partners presents a project in the luxury retail sector created in the prestigious New Bond Street in London.

The call was launched to raise a new Italian interior family that starts from the need to constantly update and comprehend a more and more complex overall picture because it disperses in the thousands of rivulets of the Italian landscape and the many societies that can accommodate.

“I am grateful to have been selected by Platform – explains Claudio Pironi – every day for us the challenge is to create spaces that dialogue with a constantly changing reality, reflecting contemporaneity and focusing on experimentation but always looking beyond the present time, to create a “timeless” design.

For the occasion, an exhibition was held at the Triennale, which will be open to the public from May 15 to 20 and will then continue in the historic Palazzo Albertini building in Forlì from 24 to 30 May.
