CP_58 daybed: a decor “new classic” meets Takashimaya

Elegant Precious, inviting, eclectic: CP_58  daybed is a contemporary reinterpretation of a masterpiece of design.

We’ve had the pleasure to present it for the first time in a very special place, Takashimaya Nihonbashi store in Tokyo, at the opening of a new area dedicated to Italian fashion and lifestyle held the 20th of September. If you are not planning to visit Takashimaya, we’ll be glad to introduce you to this new project, a luxury daybed inspired by Minimalists lessons and from a classic of decor such as the triclinium.

The refined choices of materials combined with the frame design conceived by Claudio Pironi confer a sophisticated and sensuous feeling to this piece of design.

Perceive the gracious shape and be captured by the lightness of brushed stainless steel. Perch on the soft and welcoming couches: single geometrical cushions, made of Crocodile embossed calf leather with matt finishing, sewed together to enhance elasticity and  comfort. They rest on Afromosia wood, a precious material, used in the 30’s and 40’s for its extraordinary elegance. “I was fascinated by the idea of rethinking with a modern footprint a luxury icon. The result is a new classic, born from the mix between precious materials and clean shapes” says Architect Claudio Pironi.

CP_58 is totally customizable, as different dimensions and coverings can be sartorially designed on demand. It will be displayed at that temple of  lifestyle which is Takashimaya Nihonbashi, whose philosophy is to provide service that remains within the heart, till february 2018.

快適な, (aka get comfortable in Japanese language).
